About realgood

Good intentions need useful records.

We are building realgood for landlords who want a clearer view of their tenancy, the records they hold and the questions they still need to ask.

Why we are building it

Managing a rented home brings together people, paperwork and changing obligations. A landlord can believe everything is in order, then find that a certificate, a date or a record of what happened is missing.

realgood brings compliance questions and property records into one workspace. Our starting point is self-managing landlords in England. We are also exploring how the same approach can support small letting agencies and the people they work with.

Our approach

From a question to a useful next step

A home, its tenancy and the people involved belong together. Our approach starts with that context, then connects questions, records and follow-up work.

  1. Understand the situation

Start with questions about the property and tenancy. An answer of “not sure” identifies something to check; it is never treated as evidence that an obligation has been met.

  2. Bring the records together

Keep property details, certificates and reports in the workspace. In our demo, voice helps collect assessment answers and hazard details, with a chance to review what was heard.

  3. Make the gaps visible

Turn assessment answers into possible gaps and follow-up actions. Explain uncertainty plainly and connect people to the guidance behind the work.

Read what changed in the law
  4. Prepare the next conversation

We are developing ways to organise facts, evidence and questions before speaking with a letting agent, a subject matter expert or a solicitor. realgood does not give legal advice. The professional brings the judgement; our aim is to help you arrive prepared.

A note from the founder

Samuel

I am building realgood around a practical question: how can we help landlords understand their situation and prepare for the right next conversation? I want people to be able to explain how they manage a home, organise the details that matter and recognise when they need someone with specialist expertise.

The product is still developing. Feedback from landlords and property professionals helps us decide what to build next. A demo is a chance to see the current workflows and tell us where they would help you.

If this sounds like work you do, I would like to hear what gets in your way. Tell us what you need at hello@getrealgood.co.uk.
